1. So at first classic one can you introduce your band, members and tell us how you met each other?

F.A.V.L. (FAUL) is a street punk band with some rock'n'roll influences  from  Viterbo…Line up is: Pony(vocals), El mariachi(guitar), Patate(drummer), Pandrella (bass)… Me (Pony) and the drummer we know each other, since we were 15 years old, El mariachi comes from the 90’s punk scene and Pandrella take part of the band and the crew just 2 years ago.
2. When and why you came decission to start a band and why the name F.A.V.L.? I think it something like initials of some villages around Viterbo? And did your members play just in F.A.V.L. or did they have any side projects?

The band started when me and the drummer (and others old members) wanted to start a punk-oi band, we were just 16 years old and we wanted to shout out our anger, the voice of the street kids in a city where there is only l places for disco music, teckno and reggamuffin… We decided to be named F.A.V.L. cause its the 4 initials of the 4 village that togheter formed our town. We are really proud of our roots, so we thougth that we couldn´t find a better name to express our spirit.
3. Your debut was Cemento e Follia is out now thanks to cooperation of many labels including MFS...can you tell us something about the release and make a short advertisment?

Yes the album was release by a lot of label Italian and European, mfs also, we did in this way for a better distribution. In our facebook page there are the link of all the labels and where people can buy it.

We are realy happy with the sound of the album, we wantatd raw like the old school oi! with some rock n roll influences, but of course we need to improve our sound!

5. Are you plan also vinyl release of the album? And do you personally prefer vinyl or CD?
Of course we would love to print also a vinil but we don t have money rigth now, but if any label it s interested in doing that just contact us! We like both cd and vinil and each of us have is own big collection.
6. You came from Italy which I thought the scene there is mainly political but current bands like your or Brutti Ignoranti or Roll Call are showing that it´s not clear...can you describe the scene in your area (Viterbo) and told us something about bars, pubs, new breed bands worth hearing, crews (Viterbo Skinheads Crew) etc...

Rolll call and Brutti e ignoranti are our friends and we have the same attitude. In viterbo the scene start in the 90 s witha crew called viterbo hc and where skins punks and hc kids it s a small town and the subculture are united. The were some bands like Razzapparte, and Tear me down, that they still exist. Viterbo skinhead crew born 4 years ago,was a great time, but there were some problem between members so the project end after that we start a new project
Tuscia clan , and we organize gig in a place called La Cantina del Gojo. Now some members of FAVL, Tuscia Clan,Brutti e ignoranti and others peoples from all over italy we start a new national project called Crucified Never dies, we want organize gigs, meeting, call punk-oi bands from all europe...NO bollox just oi!The pub where we hang out is called Beer Shock, best beer and realy cheap.

7. Italy is also famous for terraces culture ...are you supporting some football team in ultras/hooligans way?

In italy the are a lot of ultras, we are not but involve with this, we just sympatize for, Roma, Juventus and Viterbese. we support the ultras cause now agaist this new law the government put in the terrace ,called "la tessera del tifoso",that is totaly insane.

8. What about the gigs...do you play often and do you like it? And it is difficult for skinhead band to organise a gig in your city?
Favl played 7 gig, in different town in Italy together with Brutti e Ignoranti,2  times in Teh Sud organized by a brother crew of us called Still Standing Army. We will play in September in Perugia with Glory Boys, Brutti e Ignoranti and The Brawlers and in October in La Spezia with East Side Boys. Before was more difficult to find place to organize gig, but we still have our place, Cantina del Gojo, now we contact new pub will see.....in the summer my label Strength thru Oi organize the Tuscia summer fest with a lot of Italian band and a Swedish band Oldfashioned Ideas...it was great!!!

9. Do you know anything about Czech scene?

10. What should we do to organise your gig..what are your requirements? And where can we bought your stuff like CD or T-shirt?
